Lets talk about “peak stuff”. After the commercial marketing bonanza of black Friday and cyber Monday comes the excesses of Christmas shopping but do we really need more things in our already overfilled houses? Is the constant desire to have the latest gadget or fashion item really necessary? Are we happy having more things and could we live better with less? In a world of depleting resources and increasing contamination should’t we be rationalising our desire to possess?
