Welcome back after the Easter break. This week let’s talk about spices and herbs. Which do you prefer to use? Is our food so tasteless that it is necessary to provide flavour through the use of these enhancers? Do you know where they come from? Are you aware of their properties or do you just follow recipes? In the past spices were used as an expression of wealth, is that still true today? What would you use as a substitute if they weren’t available?
