"The Skull Acts" is the tongue in cheek term given to legislation designed to protect our rights as the capability of technology advances to a point where it can control our brains. Artificial intelligence can now detect emotions and to some extent, intentions. Is our most intimate organ, the brain, at risk? Is technology becoming too invasive in our private lives? Are the big tech companies accumulating too much power? Do the positives of technology outweigh the negatives?
