LET'S TALK, jueves 19 de octubre a las 16.30 h. o viernes 20 a las 19.30 h., Seminario

Welcome to another season of 'Let's Talk' sessions on Thursdays at 4.30pm and Fridays at 7.30pm.
This week let's talk about lost words. Every year children's dictionaries are re-edited to include the latest phrases and expressions as they become popular in common usage. However at the same time words and expressions that are considered to be losing their relevance are removed from the dictionary. The greatest loser in this rearrangement is nature. The names of birds and common plants are considered irrelevant in a digital age.

What is your view on the evolution of language? Do you think it is necessary to know the names of common birds?
