LET`S TALK

This week let's talk' about "New feudalism". Rich countries buy farmland in Asia, Africa and South America to import cheap food. Multinational companies patent seeds which comdemns farmers to being contract workers for the company's profit. Markets use food as a commodity for speculation. Supermarkets strive to monopolise the market. Banks hold nations and borrowers to ransom. Governments are lobbied as mere puppets of corporate interests. What shape is the world taking today? Is this really the way we want it? Come along on Thursday at 4pm or Friday at 7pm to exchange and share comments, views and opinions in English. Native speakers free of charge.
