Información "Viaje de Ida"

Este Blog, continuación del denominado: “El viaje de ida”, al que puede acceder desde éste enlace , se originó a partir del “Blog de las Acciones de Creación Literaria” organizadas por la Biblioteca Pública "Casa de las Conchas" de Salamanca (España), con motivo del IV Festival de las Artes de Castilla y León en 2008. Luego sirvió de vehículo entre la biblioteca y los participantes en los diversos clubes de lectura, los grupos de conversaciones en los diferentes idiomas y los talleres de escritura. Se completó con información sobre la Asociación de Amigos de la Biblioteca y, además, se incluyeron informaciones y propuestas de carácter literario. A partir de junio de 2024 se renueva la herramienta del blog. Inauguramos una nueva etapa, pero la finalidad continúa siendo la misma.  ¿Continúas el viaje con nosotros?

Hi everyone,
I've just been informed that the manageress of the residence (colegio mayor) I currently reside in will be leaving in October. This is a little worrying for me as it may mean I'll have to move out sooner than I was hoping. This is an unexpected change in my circumstances which I'm not very happy about! And this prompted me to choose the topic of CHANGE for our next meeting on Friday (26.06.). I once read a caption below a picture/photograph of changing seasons and it said:

"If you want things to stay as they are, things will have to change".

Think about what the author wants to say with this statement? Do you like change? How does it make you feel? Is it necessary? Which particular type of change is most difficult for you to deal with (moving home, changing jobs, a pet dying, living abroad, changes at work, getting married or living together wirh someone permanently, getting New neighbours, etc.)? What has been the most significant change in your life so far? And the consequences?
