Sorting truth from fiction was an issue in the recent American elections as well as being an issue in Spain where the ex interior minister colluded with his collaborators to fabricate negative news stories about his political adversaries. Never has the study of philosophy been more necessary and, therefore, the attempts to remove it from the school curriculum are no coincidence.
What is the point of studying philosophy? Do you think it is a relevant study?
