Let's talk about the the misuse of fear. Recent events show how the creation and perpetuation of a sense of fear provide the excuse for the introduction of unpopular powers that stomp all over the rights of ordinary people. Is that fear and the consequential loss of rights justified? What fears do you have and do you think there are other or better ways of handling it?
