Let's talk about gender this week. The absence of women in top roles in society and Apple's and Facebook's offer of an egg freezing service to allow women to extend their career opportunities have opened up a discussion. From gender specific toys to school uniforms and omni present gender specific advertising we are constantly being conditioned in traditional gender roles. Is the situation improving? What more can be done? Come along to your public library for a light discussion on the topic on Thursday at 4.30pm or Friday at 7pm.
